Chief Victor Umeh conferred with a rare chieftaincy tittle


Sir Victor Umeh (OFR), was yesterday, conferred with a Chieftaincy tittle in his home town, Aguluzigbo.

He was bestowed with the tittle of "Ikemba" 1 of Aguluzigbo. He is officially the second and the only living Ikemba. The other was Late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, the Ikemba Nnewi.

Ojukwu and Umeh were said to have inpacted ndi Igbo in same manner but through different means. 
The Ikemba Nnewi fought for ndi Igbo with words and swords, the Ikemba Aguluzigbo fought with an impliment tha is mightier than sword- "the pen".

He has left indelible strides on the hearts of ndi Anambra especially ndi Aguluzigbo.
Anambrarians call him ogbunigwe. 

He is currently a senatorial seat aspirant under APGA. Rumors had it that his rivals are all fidgety because they see him as "Ijele" (big masquerade) that they the "ogbodus" (small masquerades) should hide and give way for.
