A S.African teacher caught masturbating in public.

The Western Cape Education Department is reportedly looking into an incident involving a teacher allegedly masturbating in public after he was caught on video by a local photographer.

Chantelle Visser, a photographer from Kommetjie, Cape Town, had been waiting for a client for a photo shoot at Tokai Forest in the southern suburbs on Sunday morning when she spotted a man performing what appeared to be a lewd act of self-gratification.

Posting on Facebook, she said: “This morning between 11:00 and 11:30, while sitting in my car in Orpen Road, Tokai, waiting for a client for a photo shoot, this revolting creature whipped out his penis and began masturbating while watching me.”
The man had reportedly been walking his dog close to her vehicle before spotting Visser, and then proceeded to walk behind a tree to start, what appeared to Visser as, “rubbing himself”.
"I whipped out my cellphone and recorded the entire thing, which I will be taking to Kirstenhof Police Station. He wiped his hands on a tree (gag), and then walked right past my car once again watching me, so I snapped away," her post continued.
"Sick and tired of this type getting away with behaving like animals. Let the world know he is a sick perverted sex offender. Share!!!" her post finished.

The man was initially identified on social media as a teacher at a local school after Visser’s photos went viral.

His identity was later confirmed by the Western Cape Education Department on Monday as a teacher at the same school Visser herself had attended, she told News24.

Jessica Shelver, spokesperson for Western Cape Education MEC Debbie Schäfer, said the department was informed of the alleged incident on Monday and is investigating, while the teacher involved is set to retire, the Cape Argus reported.

A case has since been opened by police under the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences and Related Matters) Amendment Act 32 of 2007.

And Visser, after early disappointments in dealing with the Kirstenhof Police Station, where she was first turned away due to load shedding, reserved praise for one Detective Serfontein, describing her help in the incident as “absolutely great”.
