Sex offender docked for raping dog and sodomizing it

A registered sex offender was arrested for sex assault after raping a dog. Now, the man of Tennessee, is facing felony charges. According to the police press release, James Michael Foran, 47, was arrested and charged after an investigation into the alleged incident that began when the owner of a female Labrador mix told investigators that her dog was sexually assaulted in Wallace Pike in Virginia. The dog was reportedly also sodomized with the beater of a mixer, inflicting injuries that required surgery. Detective Jason Sexton said that a DNA sample from the suspect matched the one obtained from the dog. He was arrested and booked into Southwest Virginia Regional Jail in Abingdon, where he is being held without bail. Foran was convicted in 1997, of attempted aggravated sexual assault. In Virginia, crimes against nature is a Class 6 felony, which means that Foran faces a year in prison and a fine of up to $2,500.
